Napo Wildlife Center

We arrived Tuesday afternoon at Napo Wildlife Center on the Napo river in the Amazon river basin. We traveled for about 3 hours via boat (motorized and then Canoe) and saw many birds on the way. Today we explored more and saw three types of monkeys, three different types of parakeets, river seals, a tamarind, and lots of interesting bugs.

The lodging is so beautiful, set amongst the trees with caymen and tropical birds. Maddy and Alex are holding up well, although Maddy almost ruined a bird viewing experience with loud shouts and crying. I hope none of the other guests ask for their money back...
