October 20-24 week 2 of classes

Still having a great time in Cuenca! The kids are itching for other kids to play with. Alex has figured out that he can speak Spanish and get a response from kids at the playground. However, he only says "donde estas" (where is), which confuses the native speakers. Check out this sweet swing set. Possibly not endorsed by any safety committee! 

We are eating lunch in the market in this pic. Very inexpensive and delicious! Although we have accidentally tried pig skin and some type of tripe. Not so tasty, but enough salsa and onions can make anything edible!
